Simply search by meal occasion, midweek meals, ingredients or dietary requirements to find the perfect recipe for any occasion. Our recipes are being professionally developed with our chef team and we will also be inviting influencers to contribute their favourite recipe!

The Story of Ballymaloe Foods

In 1964, Myrtle and Ivan Allen opened the doors of their home Ballymaloe House as a restaurant. The house then became a country house hotel welcoming guests from around the world. ​

A self-taught cook, Myrtle Allen was the first woman in Ireland to win a Michelin Star. Her daughter, Yasmin Hyde, learned the famous Ballymaloe Relish recipe whilst working at her mother’s side. ​

In 1990, Yasmin founded Ballymaloe Foods. producing the much-loved relish for sale in farmers markets, shops and restaurants.​
